  3. Go to the County Manager's Office at the Screven County Courthouse located at 216 Mims Road (about 1/2 mile from animal shelter) and fill out an adoption paper for the animal and pay a $5.00 adoption fee.

Notice: You will have to sign an agreement stating that you will have the animal spayed or neutered within 30 days.

  1. Go back to the Animal Shelter with your proof of payment and pick up your new best friend.
