FOSCA is strictly a volunteer run pet rescue organization. Our goal is to assist the homeless animals in Screven County find an alternative from being euthanized. We update our website daily of animals from the Screven County Animal Shelter to give these animals a chance of being seen, and in hopes of finding them a good forever home.

"I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter...the cast-offs of human society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal. And I was angry. "God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"
God was silent for a moment and then He spoke softly. I have done something," He replied. "I created you."
~The Animals' Savior Copyright Jim Willis 1999

FOSCA is not held liable or responsible for any of these animals from the Screven County Animal Shelter. Most of these animals come from an abusive, neglected situation. In most cases the history & health of the animal is unknown. Many of them have never been to a vet for any vaccinations. It is up to the new owner to understand that when adopting any of these pets, you do take a risk of getting one that may be sick or in need of medical attention.

It is up to you to provide this new pet the medical attention and care it needs at your time and expense.

To insure the pets best care, we at FOSCA recommend that you take your new companion to a vet of your choice and have the pet checked out completely before bringing them home with your other pets, to reduce risk to your other pets.

Don't forget to vote for Beau for County Commissioner!

Beau knows what the animals of Screven County need. He was once homeless and was rescued by Friends of Screven County Animals. He now works as an advocate for animals' rights. $1 = 1 vote. Let's see if Beau can get more votes than the county commissioners running. ...All donations go to help homeless animals in Screven County. Donation cans are around the county at the following locations: Moat's IGA, Sylvania Telephone, Hiltonia Package Store, Donna's Bakery, Ross Drugs, Billy's Creations in Newington, Queensborough Bank and Pam Mills' Beauty Shop. Beau thanks you for your support!

We have FoSCA t-shirts and totes!

Email Marlene to reserve one.
